Just because you got a 4X return on ad spend of $100 doesn’t mean you will make $4,000 when you spend $400. That’s not how Facebook – or paid advertising in general – works.
Because when you spend more, your ad gets served to more people – and they’re not always as targeted. Experts will tell you to expect profit margins to get thinner at this point.
So the challenge is: how do you remain profitable as you spend more? The most important thing is to still make more money back than what you spend.
